Privacy policy — Instant Variant Images

Instant Variant Images (“the app”) is operated by FourCore. This page explains what the app stores and why. Last updated: 7 August 2026.

What we store

• Your store’s identity — the shop domain and an access token Shopify issues when you install the app. This is what lets the app read your products and save galleries.
• Your gallery setup — which product images belong to which variant, and your swatch settings. This is configuration you create in the app; it contains no personal information.
• Store contact details — the store name and store owner email Shopify provides, used only to greet you in support chat and to notify us of installs.

What we never collect

The app stores no data about your customers — no names, emails, addresses, orders or browsing behaviour. The storefront widget runs entirely in the shopper’s browser and sends nothing back to our servers.

Third parties

• Vercel hosts the app and its database.
• Crisp powers the in-app support chat. When you open the admin, your store name, store URL and plan are shared with Crisp so we can help you without asking who you are.

We never sell or share your data with anyone else.

Data removal

Uninstalling the app deletes its access to your store immediately. All stored configuration and shop records are erased when Shopify sends the uninstall and shop-redact notifications, honoured automatically and within 30 days at the latest.
